Elki's Story
Passion, Creativity, and Celebration
Chapter 1
Born in Connecticut as the eldest of three daughters, Elki's journey of self-discovery began in London in her early 20s where she pursued her passion for theater and acting. Fate intervened when she fell in love with an Israeli theater director. Following her heart, Elki made Aliyah to Israel in the late 70s. Armed with determination and courage, she learned Hebrew and how to navigate life in a new country with a profoundly rich and complex history.
Chapter 2
Over the past 30 years, Elki has successfully built two distinguished careers in Israel as both a film, television and theater actress and a luxury event designer, all while raising her two beautiful daughters, Anna and Ayala. Her experiences deepened her connection and love of Israel, and fueled her passion for storytelling through design. You can watch this short video to learn more about Elki.
Chapter 3
From her home base in Tel Aviv, Elki has designed events for clients throughout the world. From London and New York to Miami, Jaipur, Monte Carlo, Berlin, Vienna, Athens, Elki Jacobs has crafted countless memories that last a lifetime. Families around the world have invited Elki into their lives to create and celebrate weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and other once-in-a-liftime milestone moments.
Chapter 4
While Israel provides an exotic, meaningful setting for certain events, Elki Jacobs Design is now expanding to New York and Florida for those who wish to celebrate in their own communities.
